 Friday-Monday, August 3-6, 2018The first "Rustic Days" event was held in 1973, and it attracted a surprising 351 visitors. This is one of our most popular events, and we expect a great crowd. Visitors are always welcome. Call the office for details.
 Folks who are interested in nudism, but perhaps are not ready to commit to visiting a "Nudist Club" should consider visiting one of the area's several hot springs. Hot springing is an excellent introduction to social nudity. Most (non-commercialized) hot springs have a "clothing optional" policy -- or, as Evie Litton writes in Hiking Hot Springs in the Pacific Northwest you can "wear what you normally bathe in."
 Members and visitors to Lake Bronson are just like you. Some have been raised as nudists. Others came to nudism by way of skinny-dipping as a child. Others still are retired and had "Visit a Nudist Park" on their bucket list. Some nudists only come to the lake when the sun is shining, while their counterparts are the nudists participating in the polar bare dip on January 1st
 As a fairly social person, I enjoy meeting new people and it's always interesting hearing how someone came to be at a place like Lake Bronson. The stories run the gamut, from "I grew up at places like this," to "My [partner / spouse] convinced me to come," to "I was just looking for a nice lake to camp at and found that the nicest one was clothing-free." The common theme in all of them is how comfortable people feel here, much to many's surprise.
